Sacred Adventures to Revive the Soul:
Prayer, Hiking, & Sisterhood
The glory of God is man fully alive. — St. Irenaeus
You weren’t made for survival mode.
You were made to be fully alive.
But when the demands of life seem to pull you away from the true, good, and beautiful… disconnection creeps in. We forget who we are.
Maybe you feel it now—burnout in your bones, a longing for renewal and adventure, a hunger for peace that no screen, scroll, or self-help hack can satisfy.
Consider this is your invitation back to the beginning.
To the garden.
To the God who speaks through wind, water, and silence.
Rooted in the teachings of St. John Paul II and the theology of the body, Viriditas Byways is more than a retreat. It’s a pilgrimage inward—into identity, restoration, and deep communion with God, creation, and your sisters in Christ.
This is a space to remember that your body is a gift.
That creation is not just background, but a place of encounter.
That joy is not a luxury, but your inheritance.
You were made for abundance, communion, and radiant peace.
You were made to live awake to grace in every moment.
Let’s seek the Lord who makes all things new .
Retreat to creation. Return to yourself.

See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up - do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
Isaiah 43:19
Welcome.
We are women on a sacred journey into the wild, into stillness, into deeper communion with Christ.
Viriditas Byways is a space for adventurous Catholic women to return to the beauty of creation and rediscover the voice of God in the silence, the soil, and each other.
Inspired by St. Hildegard, who saw the hand of God in every living thing, and St. John Paul II, who brought young people into nature to encounter God, this is more than a retreat. It’s a renewal through prayer, hiking, and holy friendship.
Step off the grid and into the sacred.
Come back to wonder.
You belong.
